Forgive one another

Sun, 13th Mar, 2016.

The psalmist said “I was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the Lord”. For in the house of the Lord, there is abundant joy and love shared among the saints. May we all make it to the house of the Lord in order to experience this great joy and love. Today we learn something about forgiving one another.
Please let us read these verses from the KJV Bible.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:.. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. – Matthew 6:14,15.
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?.. Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. – Matthew 18:21,22.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. – Mark 11:25.

Indeed the Word of God has said it all. Forgiving one another is a good practice that we all ought to partake in. We should never get tired of forgiveness. For us to gain a good relationship with the Lord, we need to forgive; for our sins to be forgiven by the Lord, we need to forgive; for us to gain blessings from the Lord, we need to forgive; for us to be successful in this Christian life, we genuinely ought to forgive one another.

This is a powerful rule of forgiveness; “if you do not forgive each other, your God in heaven will also not forgive you”. As Christians, I believe we have a stronger understanding of forgiveness. Our Lord Jesus sacrificed Himself as an atonement for our sins; We were forgiven through His death and after He resurrected, this life of forgiveness was imparted into us. May we practice this life of forgiveness every time and I believe the Lord will also bless us every time. God bless you. Amen.

Please share a word with the world.
