Knowing The Truth.

Good morning God’s people. It is indeed true that the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases and His immeasurable mercies never comes to an end. They are new every morning and great is His faithfulness unto us. Glory be to God. Today we learn something about we knowing the truth.

Please let us read these verses from the KJV Bible.
John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”.
John 17:17 “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth”.

What is truth? Truth is the reality of a thing. Whenever Satan tempts or attacks God’s people, he always comes in stealthily. He never let us know he is there. He never does anything in the light. But if we know what the reality of the thing is, it will set us free. In other words if we know something is of Satan, we are freed. The difficulty of many of us is the unawareness of the enemy. For we must feel it in our hearts and not our mouths that these are the attacks of Satan.

The power of Satan solely lies in his deception. If he cannot deceive, he loses his power. Therefore one very thing that we need to do is to keep the truth wherever we go. The Word of God is our weapon against the enemy’s deceptions. The moment the enemy attacks us, we stand on the truth to resist or rebuke him, for he has no power over the Word of God. May we learn more of the truth in order to be set free from all the attacks the enemy puts on us. God bless you. Amen.
